Dawn

These last days bring the fond embrace of autumnal leaves and a mystic sun.

Solitude lingers below the pines as a zephyr carries the ashes of summer into shades unknown.

A vast empyrean of orchid lulls the hours when stars drift across a divine horizon.

Wolves search ancient paths for the gateway to the lunar spheres.

Birds once content seek the pageantry of a mild July beyond the emerald hills.

When twilight visits, the azure cascades amongst oceans and the skyline.

An ecstasy that is sweeter than an enchanted wine from the sacred groves of dawn.
